As Jon so rightly said (and please forgive me for not having acknowledged them previously), we are taking all of your feedback very seriously.
When I started out on this journey, I posted my original listings as a serial on The Steve Hoffman Forums where I received a huge amount of support, encouragement and -- best of all -- corrections. I'm the first to admit that my ears are not those of an audiophile (for that, I blame a certain Mr. John Alec Entwistle) and was put straight on a large number of issues people had with what I was claiming. I'm still getting that and I will always encourage it.
After all, who am I to claim that I know exactly what's what?
A number of people have also requested greater detail in terms of what the differences are between certain mix variations of a particular song ("Won't Get Fooled Again" springs immediately to mind). It is something that I'd set out to do when I started but -- a typical fault of mine -- I got distracted by just enjoying the songs all over again, and it simply fell by the wayside. We are concentrating our energies now on bringing exactly that kind of detail to these pages.
I'd like to introduce you all, therefore, to Mr. Luke Pacholski, who has kindly volunteered to do the honours. His knowledge is astounding, and he has the perfect pedigree to add great value and much deeper detail here. His contribution to the wider Who community through The Steve Hoffman Forums and the great Odds&Sods mailing list over the years has been immense.
So, welcome Luke, and thanks for your time and efforts.
Cheers,
Benn
